Melanie Bruno graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (currently Cortiva Institute) August 1994. She is licensed by the State of Illinois. Melanie is also a member of the American Massage Therapy association, a professional organization that upholds the highest standard of ethics and business practices and also requires its members to participate in continuing education.
Continuing education is a necessity to keep a massage therapist informed and to broaden the scope of practice. Melanie has training in Anatomy and Physiology; Swedish Massage techniques; Muscle therapy; Deep tissue therapy; Trigger Point Therapy; Myofascial Release; Neuromuscular Therapy; Sports massage and On-Site Seated Massage. She uses a variety of these techniques to ensure your massage session is always tailored to your needs at that session.
